Catholic Social Teaching (CST) is the Social Doctrine of the Church. The scope includes the truth of revelation about human life, dignity, solidarity, and principles of justice and peace. We continue to explore seven themes and related topics of CST via presentations by Catholic subject matter experts with reference to scripture, Catechism, encyclicals, and other Church documents.
During this presentation, we will take a look at the Laudato Si' Action Platform. Inspired by the encyclical published by Pope Francis in 2015, this Platform is a tool to help guide our actions as stewards of God’s creation. Join as we explore the goals of Laudato Si' and use the Platform to:
- review suggested and specific creative actions as individuals and families
- add our own ideas as stewards of creation
- build a personal Laudato Si' Action Plan
Register at
gscc.net/cst. Cost is $10. For those who cannot attend in person, the presentation will be recorded.
