Catholic Social Teaching (CST) is the Social Doctrine of the Church. The scope includes the truth of revelation about human life, dignity, solidarity, and principles of justice and peace. We continue to explore principles, themes, and related topics of Catholic Social Doctrine via presentations by Catholic subject matter experts.
Join us for two presentations by Jim McGill:
- December 4: Nonviolence, Peace, and War
- December 11: The Kingdom of God on Earth
The topics will be explored through the lens of Scripture, Catechism, Compendium, Encyclicals, etc:
- Foundational roots of nonviolence and peace
- Characteristics of the Kingdom of God on Earth
- Their importance for our understanding, faith, and a just and peaceful world.
Cost is $10 per session. For those who cannot attend in person, a Zoom link will be provided. The presentation will be recorded.
